Excitement and enthusiasm overflow in the activity "Joyful New Year - Spring of Thousands of Love" of teachers, students and parents of Dong Da Primary School, Vinh Yen City. At the program, students can participate in exchanges and cultural performances, play folk games; save and share beautiful moments with parents through the photo contest "Spring 2024 Moments".
Under the guidance of teachers and parents, students can also make their own lucky money envelopes, decorate peach and apricot branches, display five-fruit trays, traditional candies, and wrap Chung cake.
Children also get to show off their talent and ingenuity in hands-on activities making decorative products and Tet displays; Use learned knowledge to create meaningful and valuable products to introduce and sell to mobilize resources to help students with special circumstances, difficulties, and students in highland areas.
Teacher Nguyen Thu Ba, Principal of Dong Da Primary School, said, "This is an annual activity of the school every Tet. In addition to the purpose of allowing students to experience traditional Tet activities and customs, this extracurricular activity also helps them practice life skills and develop communication language.”
The program is also an activity that continues the volunteer journey that the school has done well over the years. All proceeds from sales at the classes' Tet markets, as well as money from donations, will be used by the school to carry out meaningful volunteer programs such as visiting and giving gifts to highland students, or giving Tet gifts to poor students and disadvantaged students.
