Impressive art programme on brocade fashion in Central Highlands

An art programme on Central Highlands brocade weaving has taken place at Dray Nur waterfall, Dray Sap Commune, Krong Ana District, Dak Lak Province.

The event was held by the Central Highlands Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Commission for  Mass Mobilization to to help contribute to promoting and preserving the beauty and value of the Central Highlands brocade weaving.

Brocade fashion collections by designers Le Kyo, Cong Huan, Cao Duy, Trung Beret, Nguyen Thuy, Minh Hanh were introduced by students of No Trang Long Ethnic Boarding High School, gong teams and ethnic minority artists and artisans living in Dak Lak Province.

According to H'Kim Hoa Byăh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Dak Lak provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation, the space of gong culture and traditional festivals has been preserved for generations of ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands cannot lack of brocade colours./.
