Nearly 2,500 entries join contest about Vietnam's history of patriotic traditions

On December 28, in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee summarized and presented awards for the writing contest “Vietnam in me is” about the patriotic historical traditions of the nation.

In addition to the goal of creating an environment and conditions for union members, young people have the opportunity to learn and experience the traditional cultural values of the nation and raise awareness, responsibility of the young generation in preserving, promoting and preserving national cultural identity; the contest also aims to contribute to bringing information and images about Vietnam and people to international friends.

According to comrade Nguyen Quoc Huy, Chief of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, Head of the organizers, 2,457 works of union members and young people at home and abroad joined the contest.

Among them, the topic most interested in and performed by contestants is about President Ho Chi Minh, followed by content related to landscapes, historical relics, costumes, cuisine, and tourist attractions.

Specifically, the contest was responded and attende by union members and ethnic minority youth from Lang Son, Dak Lak, Gia Lai, and Yen Bai.

The organizers awarded one first prize, one second prize, two third prizes, one prize for the unit with the most entries; eight awards for outstanding works in competition weeks./.
