Program promotes culture, cuisine and traditional craft villages in Bac Ninh province

The northern Bac Ninh Provincial Centre for Relic Conservation and Tourism Promotion has launched a program to boost the tourism potential and strengths of Bac Ninh, contributing to stimulating tourism and the local economy.

The tourism promotion program entitled “Bac Ninh – a cultural tourism destination of festivals, cuisine and traditional craft villages” has taken place in Song Ho Ward, Thuan Thanh Town, the northern province of Bac Ninh Province from December 1 to 3.
The programme featured 16 booths, showcasing cultural heritage and unique traditional craft villages of Bac Ninh Province, such as Dong Ho folk painting, Dai Bai bronze casting, Xuan Hoi bamboo and rattan craft, Phu Lang pottery, and others.

In addition, the event also provided local tourism information, displayed OCOP products and several typical products such as Nem Bui (fermented pork wrapped with fig leaves), Dinh Bang’s Phu The cake (conjugal cake), Ban Te (rice cake), and others.
Within the framework of the programme, visitors can also admire 50 art photos depicting Bac Ninh's cultural heritage and enjoy Quan Ho love duet singing, Dong Ngu water puppet shows and many interesting folk games./.
