Vietnamese public security forces present 5,000 face masks to Chinese counterparts

The public security forces in Meo Vac and Dong Van districts in Vietnam’s Ha Giang province on March 15th presented 5,000 face masks to public security forces in neighbouring Fu Ning district, China’s Yunnan province.

Leaders of the Meo Vac district public security shared their sympathy over the difficulties that China and Fu Ninh district face in fighting Covid-19. They also expressed their hope to work with Chinese district to educate residents about preventive measures for protecting themselves and communities from the disease; and maintaining stations at the border line for dealing with any illegal immigrants.

This was part of practical activities to increase solidarity among the people of the three districts.

Earlier, Ha Giang province border guard presented 1,000 face masks to cadres and soldiers of Yang Wan sub-station of Yunnan province’s Tian Bao station.

Head of the Yang Wan sub-station Wang Long confirmed the significance of the Vietnamese soldiers’ presents during the complex development of the disease.

“The activity contributes to reinforcing solidarity and cooperation among the two sides’ border guards,” he added./.
