(CPV) - As many of 238 photos selected from 12,480 photos to the Vietnam Art Photo Contest 2020 are on display at an exhibition which will run at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi until October 23.
The contest aims to introduce outstanding works to Vietnamese and international audiences, and review activities in Vietnam’s photography scene in the past years.
On this occasion, an awards ceremony for the Vietnam contest was also held.
Organised by the Department of Art, Photography, and Exhibitions under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, the contest received 12,480 entries from 1,516 photographers from all localities after four months.
Le Tue from HCM City triumphed in the first category of the contest, while Nguyen Van Dung, also from the southern city, clinched the silver medal.
Huynh Pham Anh Dung from HCM City and Nong Viet Linh from Hanoi won gold in other categories.
