Hanoi promotes VND120-trillion credit package for social housing loans

The Hanoi People’s Committee has just issued Official Dispatch 3711 on continuing to drastically implement solutions to increase access to credit capital, remove difficulties for production and business activities and carry out State budget revenue tasks in 2023.

Notably, the Hanoi People’s Committee required promoting the implementation of the 120-trillion VND credit program for investors and buyers of social housing projects, worker housing, old apartment renovation and reconstruction projects and a credit package of 15 trillion VND for the forestry and fisheries sectors, contributing to economic recovery and growth.

At the same time, the committee requires the promotion of administrative procedure reform, digital transformation, and strengthening administrative discipline in performing public duties; closely coordinating with tax and customs authorities to strengthen state budget revenue management, ensure correct and complete collection; and proactively propose solutions to strive to exceed the assigned 2023 state budget revenue estimate.

In addition, the City People’s Committee assigned the State Bank of Vietnam’s branch in Hanoi to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction and related units to continue implementing the city's direction in document 10287 dated September 7, 2023./.
