Korean businesses receive favorable investment condition in Hanoi

(CPV) - Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee has affirmed that Hanoi will create favorable conditions for foreign businesses, including Korean enterprises, to invest in the city.

On September 13, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh received leaders of THT Development Company and Daewoo E&C Vietnam Company.
At the reception, General Director of the THT Development Company An Kuk Jin expressed his gratitude for the active direction of the city authority, emphasizing that this support helped THT invest and develop the Starlake project very successfully. He expressed his desire to reinvest in further projects in Hanoi in particular, as well as in Vietnam in general, through Daewoo E&C Company.
Regarding the Starlake urban area in Western Lake West, Mr. An Kuk Jin gave basic information about the project, confirming that the company understands the importance of this area for Hanoi, so the planning has been completed with great care. According to Mr. An Kuk Jin, in addition to the living space, the urban area is also planned in a modern direction, with full infrastructure for commerce, services and living space for people. General Director THT Development Company added he wished that the city authority would be interested in supporting the project so that the project can develop as quickly as possible.
For his part, Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh said that Hanoi is adjusting the Hanoi Capital Construction Master Plan to 2030 with a vision to 2050, in which the urban spatial planning is very clear.
He said he wished that real estate businesses would have a better approach to housing issues; implement projects that create urban spaces commensurate with the capital's stature, associated with culture and with lasting values; and join hands with the city authority in stabilizing the housing fund as well as real estate prices.
He also directed the relevant departments and branches and Tay Ho District to urgently coordinate to find a plan to support THT Development Company in the project in Western Lake West./.
