Chairwoman of the HCMC’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee extends New Year greetings to Laos, Cambodia, Thailand

Ms. Tran Kim Yen, member of the Standing Board of the HCMC Party Committee and Chairwoman of the HCMC’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee led a delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) on April 11 congratulated the Consulates General of Cambodia, Laos and Thailand in HCMC on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay Festival of Cambodia, the Songkran New Year of Thailand and the Bunpimay Festival of Laos.

Visiting each place to extend wishes for the traditional New Year, Ms. Yen highly appreciated the governments and people of Laos, Thailand and Cambodia for always supporting and standing side by side with HCMC in difficult times. At the same time, she expressed her hope that the relationship between each country and HCMC, as well as between the city and localities of the three countries, will become more and more sustainable.
In the coming time, she hopes that the Consulates General of the three countries will continue to pay attention to and mobilize their citizens to well obey the guidelines and policies of the city.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC is willing and makes the best efforts to continue to strengthen the friendship and cooperation in many aspects, especially in the fields of economy, between the city and localities of the countries that have signed cooperation programs; in which special attention is paid to the exchange and cooperation of the young generation between the sides to maintain, preserve and promote the good traditions between Vietnam and Cambodia - Laos - Thailand./.
