SATRA has 54 units, subsidiaries and affiliated companies with nearly 16,000 employees; and works mainly on production - business - trade - service - retail and import and export. It also participates in stabilizing the market of essential goods to serve the people of the city.
Over the years, SATRA has always determined that continuing "Promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style" has practical significance in order to build a strong Party organization, mass organization, and sustainable development business.
Since May 2021, member enterprises have chosen the contents of studying and following Uncle Ho, suitable for each specific time, and put them into thematic activities of Party organization meetings and after-hours activities among employees.
Breakthrough contents and key tasks have been worked out to make a clear change in studying and following Uncle Ho’s example.

In 2021 and 2022, the Executive Boards of enterprises and three Corporation unions identified practical and creative measures in building standards on following Uncle Ho’s example, helping officials, Party members, union members, members and employees to strive to follow Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style suitably for each group of people; and promoting self-discipline of key cadres in following his moral example.
Ethical standards are built in association with the specific tasks of each job position and are one of the important criteria to assess the work completion of officials, Party members and employees, Party organizations and business organizations annually.
SATRA has always determined that promoting studying and following Uncle Ho’s example is an important and regular task of every cadre and Party member, especially key cadres and heads of enterprises. The Corporation's leaders require exemplary roles and responsibilities of officials and Party members, which must be demonstrated through exemplary performance of production, business and professional tasks, in labor and participation in other activities of the Corporation./.
