Vehicles traveling from Binh Duong to Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City and vice versa will move easier and faster when the two localities “shake hands” to invest in a connection transport project with an estimated cost of more than 5 trillion VND.

A representative of the Binh Duong People’s Committee said that this locality is coordinating with HCM City to implement two important connection transport projects. After the projects are put into use, they will not only help vehicles move quickly and avoid congestion, but also create a civilized and modern urban landscape.
Specifically, the two localities will coordinate to implement the Song Than intersection project in An Binh ward, Di An city, Binh Duong, linking with Pham Van Dong street in Thu Duc city with a length of about 1.2km.
The project’s investment capital totals more than 3.8 trillion VND, of which the cost of compensation and site clearance is 2.408 trillion VND, including 471 billion invested by HCM City and 1.937 trillion VND invested by Binh Duong.
In addition to the above project, Binh Duong and HCM City are coordinating to implement the project of upgrading and expanding An Binh road with a length of 1.36km, in which the road in Binh Duong has a length of 1.08km.
The total investment of this project as proposed is 1.693 trillion VND, including over 1.5 trillion VND invested by Binh Duong.
So far, Binh Duong has had over 7,421km of roads, of which there are 3 national highways including: 1A, 1K and 13, with a length of 77km. The southern province has 14 provincial roads with a length of 449km; district roads and 95% of urban roads which have been asphalted./.
