In his position, he affirmed that he would do his best to contribute to the further development of economic, social and cultural exchange relations between Japan and Ho Chi Minh City.

He also expressed his expectation that in the future, besides Ho Chi Minh City, many Japanese businesses will increase investment in more southern provinces to better develop traffic in this area.

He wished the two countries to strengthen the already good relationship, and at the same time highly appreciated the contributions of Japanese businesses and communities in Ho Chi Minh City. He added he hoped that Japanese businesses would continue to contribute to the city's development and promote trade investment between the two countries.

According to Mr. Nen, the city is preparing to submit to the National Assembly a mechanism to remove obstacles and create conditions for joint projects of the two countries to be implemented quickly, including metro line No. 1.

He affirmed that the city will always closely coordinate and create the most favorable conditions for diplomatic missions in Ho Chi Minh City in organizing events, especially Japan celebrates the 50th anniversary of its establishment of diplomatic relations with Vietnam./.
