Ho Chi Minh City’s public security forces disseminate Ho Chi Minh cultural space

On April 12, at the headquarters of the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security, a ceremony was held to debut the agency’s library, inaugurate the Ho Chi Minh cultural space of the city public security youth, and sign the program of cooperation between the City Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the City Public Security in 2023.

The library is invested to install eMicLib electronic library management software, with 8 functional modules of an electronic library system, large database management (more than 5 million records) and fast search speed. It currently has nearly 3,000 copies of books, 640 electronic documents and 4 magazines on President Ho Chi Minh, politics, law and legal documents, literature, professionalism and other topics.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Le Hong Nam, Director of the City Public Security, suggested that the units thoroughly encourage cadres and soldiers to raise awareness, meaning and special importance of reading culture; identify reading and learning more and forever following the great Uncle Ho's example; encourage them to actively come to the City Public Security Library to read books, form a habit of reading books, study documents and visit the Ho Chi Minh cultural space, contributing to creating energy in spreading and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
During the 2017 - 2022 term, City Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the City Public Security maintained the signing of the annual program of cooperation activities and organized many practical and effective activities, contributing to improving the quality of the Union's work and movements. In 2023, the two agencies will implement two new groups of content, including those related to the National Digital Transformation targets such as the organization of citizen identification, dissemination of laws, support for the implementation of administrative procedures for youth with disabilities, dignitaries, religious believers and prestigious people from ethnic minorities. Laws will be disseminated in 20 youth accommodation areas, 30 residential markets, and 10 dormitories./.
