Ho Chi Minh City willing to connect cooperation between Hungary and southern localities

On the cooperative relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Hungary, he expressed his hope that Ambassador Baloghdi Tibor would pay attention to enhancing cooperation in trade and investment, health, education, culture, art and science - technology. As the city is the center of the country, he said he hoped it would be the place for activities and for welcoming many high-ranking Hungarian delegations and businesses.

Hungarian Ambassador Baloghdi Tibor affirmed that he would make efforts to promote cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Hungary. He said he was very pleased and proud that Hungary is a small country but has set up cooperation in many fields such as economy and education with the city.

Now, 10 years after opening the Consulate General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City, many results have been achieved in the cooperation between the city and Hungary. On this occasion, the Ambassador suggested leaders of departments and agencies of the city continue to support to promote cooperation between the city and Hungary. He affirmed that he would try to promote comprehensive development between Hungary and not only Ho Chi Minh City but also with southern provinces such as Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Ben Tre. “With its role, the Hungarian Consulate General and Embassy have the task to connect business partners of the two sides,” he said. “Hungary is the gateway for Vietnamese businesses to penetrate the European market.

Regarding cooperative relations, Hungary always wishes to strengthen cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City in the field of trade - investment. In the near future, a leading Hungarian business delegation will visit Vietnam and will come to Ho Chi Minh City. In the field of education and training, Hungary is proud of the former students who are the bridge for the relationship between the two countries. Currently, there are more than 300 Vietnamese students, most of whom are from Ho Chi Minh City, in Hungarian universities studying medicine who will be a connection between the two sides in the field of education and training and healthcare. In the field of art and culture, Hungary also has many activities to enhance exchange performances and will continue to organize various activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Towards the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025, many high-level delegations will visit Vietnam./.
