Congratulations to veteran doctors on Vietnam Doctor’s Day

Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education Nguyen Trong Nghia visited and congratulated leaders of the Ministry of Health and the Central Board of Healthcare Services for Senior Officials on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of Vietnam Doctor’s Day (February 27).

Mr. Nghia sent wishes for health, happiness and success to the leaders of the Ministry of Health and all healthcare workers.

He said there are  many fine examples of doctors, nurses and medical staff members who have worked diligently, responsibly, are not afraid of danger or hard work, and volunteer to work the front line against the COVID-19 epidemic. This beautiful movement, full of humanity, spreads in the society, contributing to consolidating the people's confidence in the leadership of the Party and State.

On this occasion, Secretary of the PCC, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen led a delegation of city  leaders on February 24 to visit and congratulate veteran doctors.

The delegation visited the family of late Vietnamese heroic mother, Bui Thi Me, former Deputy Minister of Health; and Hero of Labor and former Deputy Minister of Health, Doctor Doan Thuy Ba.

Leaders commemorated late Vietnamese heroic mother, Bui Thi Me who made great contributions to the health sector of the country.

On behalf of the city’s leaders, Mr. Nen conveyed his best wishes to her family and hoped that members would      continue to develop meaningful family traditions.

He also expressed his profound gratitude to Doctor Doan Thuy Ba who is one of the typical health-care workers for her dedication to the healthcare field and revolutionary cause, and sent the best wishes to the doctor’s family.

Also on this occasion, a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper led by editor-in-chief Tran Doan visited healthcare workers from the Ministry of Health, Hospital E, Military Central Hospital 108,  Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Vietnam – German Friendship Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, Lung Central Hospital, and Central Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

Mr. Tien sent his best congratulations to officials, physicians, employees and healthcare workers. He expressed his wish that units in the health sector would continue to promote the coordination with the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper in disseminating to improve awareness in taking care of people's health as well as providing information about outstanding achievements of the health sector./.
