Inegol is located in Southeastern Bursa province, the capital of the furniture industry of Turkey. Established in 2010 with nearly 4,000 members, it handles 50% of Turkey’s furniture product exports, mainly sent to the Middle East market.

During the program, Ambassador Tuan met IMOS President and Chairman of Inegol Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss cooperation possibilities between Turkish and Vietnamese businesse communities. The representatives of the diplomatic corps also had the opportunity to visit the production facility of the largest furniture manufacturing company in Turkey.

The Vietnamese Embassy also visited the large foam manufacturing business, Serra Foam Company based in Bursa, worked with Mr. Abdullah Ozdemir, General Director of the company.

Last March, Mr. Ozdemir went to Vietnam to learn about the possibility of investing in building a factory producing foam rubber, which is key input material for furniture, garment and footwear industries./.
