Vietnamese Tet welcomed by Germany – Vietnam Association

At the party, President of the Germany – Vietnam Association Siegfried Sommer sent happy new year wishes to Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Minh Vu and his spouse as well as guests of the event. He also expressed his hope that in his new tenure, the Vietnamese Ambassador would make positive contributions to strengthen and further develop the strategic relations between Vietnam and Germany.   

Mr. Siegfried Sommer also affirmed that the association will always accompany Ambassador Nguyen Minh Vu in activities to promote relations between the two countries.

For his part, Ambassador Nguyen Minh Vu expressed his pleasure to attend the party to welcome the Vietnamese Tet. He emphasized that the positive progress in Vietnam- Germany relations over the past time will contribute to creating important momentum for the bilateral relations in the coming time.

The ambassador desired the association to continue to work together with him in activities to promote political, economic, cultural and tourism relations. At the same time, he also hoped that the association will have more significant and specific activities to make it an effective bridge to promote relations between the two countries.

The party took place in a warm atmosphere with many art items performed by members from the October Club and singers from the Vietnamese community. Besides, guests also received lucky money from the organizing board and enjoyed traditional dishes of Vietnam on Tet./.
