Speaking at the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mozambique Le Huy Hoang highlighted the important role of Vietnamese women with the good qualities of "hero, indomitability, loyalty" and having made great and important contributions to building the glorious tradition of the nation and the national development at present.
He also praised the outstanding efforts and positive contributions of the women in the Vietnamese community in Mozambique with dynamism, creativity and kindness, always concerned about social and community benefits, and having made practical contributions to building a united and strong Vietnamese community in Mozambique.
The Ambassador emphasized that over the past time, many women from enterprises, including female employees of Movitel, have been holding many important positions to help increase the market share, role and image of Vietnamese enterprises in the local area. Women, who have worked as agricultural health education experts for many years, have made outstanding contributions that are highly appreciated by the local government.
In addition, many Vietnamese women have actively integrated into the local socio-economic life, responding positively to charity work and various external activities of the community, contributing to promoting solidarity and promoting the position of Vietnamese people in the locality.
He hoped that Vietnamese women in Mozambique will continue to reap successes to make greater contributions to the community and the friendship between the two countries.
At the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, from the Whatana Investment Company in Mozambique, expressed her pleasure and thanked the embassy for organizing the meeting and considered it as the significant attention to enhance cohesion among Vietnamese women in the community.
At the event, Vietnamese women were presented flowers and gifts from the embassy and Movitel as well as enjoying Vietnamese dishes and art programs./.
