During the festival, more than 1,000 Vietnamese students enjoyed various cultural and artistic activities, as well as folk games, took place and a ceremony was held to praise students who have made outstanding academic achievements and contributions to social activities.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Nguyen Vu Tu said that 17,000 Vietnamese are studying in RoK, up about 6,000 as compared with 2018.
He praised the executive board of VSAK for its diversified activities and movements among Vietnamese students in RoK.
When returning to Vietnam, they have made practical contributions to Vietnam’s development as well as boosting Vietnam - RoK relations.
On this occasion, VSAK President Tran Thien Quang said the annual festival aims to create a useful playground for Vietnamese students in the RoK and promote the image of Vietnamese students in the eyes of international friends, contributing to promoting the traditional relationship, cooperation and friendship between the two countries./.
