Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands Pham Viet Anh has recently attended the Summer Camp 2023 organized by three overseas Vietnamese associations in the Netherlands.

This significant event of the community was held on July 9. In previous years, the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Den Haag city and surrounding areas also organized a summer camp for Vietnamese language classes at the headquarters of the Embassy with the participation of several dozen children and their families.
In 2022, with the support of the Embassy, for the first time, the Summer Camp was held outside of Den Haag city, attracting many people from other localities to join.
This year, the initiative has completely belonged to the Overseas Vietnamese Association in the Netherlands, the Vietnamese Women's Union in the Netherlands and the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Den Haag and surrounding areas. This year's event attracted large number of participants, many of them travelling 200km from Venlo, Roermond bordering Germany to attend the event.
During the event, overseas Vietnamese children could exchange and have fun after a year of studying, and could speak Vietnamese with each other.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Pham Viet Anh highly appreciated the efforts of the associations in organizing useful and meaningful activities for the community and wished overseas Vietnamese more and more solidarity and promotion of their collective wisdom, and the strength of the community to help the following generations to preserve Vietnamese culture and identity in the Netherlands./.
