Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s 93rd anniversary celebrated in Cuba

At the ceremony, the participants reviewed the heroic tradition over more than 9 decades of establishment and development of the Youth Union associated with the struggle, protection and construction of the Fatherland of Vietnamese people. Especially the contest "Vietnamese youth in Cuba learn about the Youth Union".

Speaking at the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Le Quang Long acknowledged the efforts of Vietnamese youth union members and youth in this Caribbean island nation in studying well, actively participating in community activities in the difficult circumstances of the host country.

Ambassador Long expressed his wish that the young generation would constantly train, strive, and actively contribute to the cause of building the homeland, as well as continue to preserve and promote the Vietnam-Cuba brotherly relationship.

On behalf of the Youth Union staff in Cuba, Deputy Secretary Bui Thi Hien thanked the Vietnamese Embassy and representative agencies in Cuba for always accompanying youth union members, supporting and encouraging pupils and students to successfully complete their learning tasks and promote the spirit of solidarity and mutual love.

On this occasion, the Youth Union's staff in Cuba and two individuals were given Certificates of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee for their outstanding achievements in the work of the youth union and the youth movement./.
