MOFA encourages and appreciates overseas Vietnamese intellectuals’ contributions towards homeland

At the reception, Prof. Nguyen Duc Khuong reported to Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang about the association's activities in recent times, and some in the coming time.

He said that the AVSE Global network is currently present in over 20 countries with about 10,000 members who are Vietnamese and foreign intellectuals, experts with the desire to make positive contributions to Vietnam's development.

On behalf of AVSE Global, Prof. Khuong expressed his thanks to the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and SCOV for always accompanying and supporting AVSE Global in the past, and said he looks forward to continuing to receive the SCOV’s support in a number of specific projects and activities of the association in the coming time.

Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang highly appreciated the efforts and results achieved by AVSE Global during the past time.

She affirmed that the MOFA always encourages and appreciates overseas Vietnamese intellectuals’ contributions towards the homeland and expressed her hope that AVSE Global will have more practical and effective activities to contribute to the homeland in the coming time.

Ms. Hang affirmed that SCOV will always accompany, support and assist AVSE Global in activities towards the homeland and suggested that AVSE Global could join the SCOV in organizing a number of activities in the coming time to connect and mobilize the potential strengths and contributions of overseas Vietnamese to the country's development./.
