Overseas Vietnamese in RoK easy to join Vietnamese language classes

The Overseas Vietnamese Association in the Republic of Korea (RoK) has successfully organized Loving Vietnamese classes in Daejeon city and Gwangju-Chonnam city.

Loving Vietnamese Class is a meaningful annual program of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in RoK towards the community, contributing to preserving and promoting the Vietnamese language among multicultural families living there.
The program aims to help children of Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families learn their mother tongue and contribute to preserving the traditional cultural beauty of the country.
The teaching textbook is compiled by RoK’s Ministry of Gender Equality and Family specifically for the education of children from Korean-Vietnamese multicultural families.
By the end of June 2022, ceremonies to review the first semester for the elementary classes on Vietnamese were conducted in the two cities of Daejeon and Gwangju-Chonnam.
According to information from the association, intermediate classes on Vietnamese will be launched in mid-July and early August 2022./.
