Overseas Vietnamese promptly informed about Dong Nai's investment attraction policy

The Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province has recently held a conference to review two years of implementing a coordination program on people-to-people diplomacy towards overseas Vietnamese.

Speaking at the conference held on November 2, Mr. Tran Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in HCMC, said that from 2021 up to now, the two units have coordinated with each other to organize three events to meet overseas Vietnamese in Dong Nai and attracted nearly 500 overseas Vietnamese delegates to attend.

Through these events, overseas Vietnamese have been informed about the preferential policies and potential of Dong Nai, as well as advantages of investing in the province; field surveys at locations in industrial parks in Dong Nai province. At the same time, they have been taken to visit historical relics and traditional craft villages in Dong Nai such as Tran Bien relics, pottery village and Tan Trieu grapefruit village. In addition, Dong Nai province leaders also recorded more than 20 valuable suggestions and sharing of overseas Vietnamese delegates.

At the conference, delegates discussed the coordination program of the two units in the following phase, focusing on measures to further improve the effectiveness of coordination, by expanding new areas of coordination, and deepening coordinated activities in the past.

Leaders of the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in HCMC and the Union of Friendship Organizations of Dong Nai province will research and add to the detailed program in coordination work in the near future./.
