Vietnam brought home nearly 280 citizens from 10 European countries on a Vietnam Airlines flight on September 16-17.

The flight was arranged by Vietnamese authorities and representative organizations in Europe, national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, and related authorities of the 10 European nations.
The Vietnamese Consulate General in Frankfurt sent its staff to the airport to assist the passengers with boarding procedures.
Security, safety and hygiene measures were strictly implemented during the flight to prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. Right after landing at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, all passengers and crew members were brought to quarantine sites.
Under the Prime Minister’s directions, more repatriation flights will be arranged to bring Vietnamese citizens home, depending on their needs and quarantine capacity in Vietnam./.
