The Vietnamese Embassy in the Czech Republic joined an international charity festival held by the Diplomatic Spouses Association in Prague on November 12.

At the event, Vietnamese booth displayed Nón lá (palm-leaf conical hat), coffee, spring rolls, dumplings, donuts, and sweet soup, which attracted a large attention of visitors.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Thai Xuan Dung said that the Vietnamese diplomatic delegation wants to introduce dishes popular in Vietnamese families and reaffirm the Vietnamese tradition of supporting one another.
The Diplomatic Spouses Association is a voluntary, non-profit, non-political, and independent organization founded in 1997, with members from about 50 countries.
Vietnam has participated in the bazaar since it was first held in 2000 to assist disadvantaged people.
So far, the association has raised about CZK70 million, equivalent to VND77 billion, for Czech charity groups./.
