Vietnamese business in Australia actively support people amid COVID-19

Master Poultry Group Pty Ltd (MPG) - a Vietnamese business in Australia, is very active in charity activities, especially its support to the Vietnamese community and local people amid difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Every year, MPG organises social charity events and welfare programs for about 200 employees, with 70 percent of those being Vietnamese citizens.

Particularly, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in Victoria State, although its production and business activities were significantly affected, the business still organized two programs for those with financial difficulties amid the pandemic.

In April, the company presented over 8 tonnes of chicken products at different locations in Melbourne city. It also offered 10 face masks in each gift packages.

The second program, takes place every Saturday afternoon and lasts until before Christmas from early November.

As of December 12, the business has presented nearly 1200 gift packages to local people. Each gift package includes two kilograms of chicken products and other essentials such as rice, soy sauce, milk, juice, instant noodles and toilet paper./.
