Vietnamese Embassy in Australia congratulates Laos on 45th National Day

At the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Tat Thanh congratulated the Party, State and people of Laos on the great achievements gained over the past 45 years, Lao people’s living standard is being improved, especially Laos’ economy in 2020 reaches the impressive growth rate of 3%, and Laos’ position in the region and international arena is being enhanced.

The Vietnam Ambassador emphasized the significance of the traditional relations, comprehensive cooperation, special solidarity and great friendship between the two countries. He suggested the two embassies continue to uphold the tradition through exchange, cooperation and sharing experiences to realize the agreement between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs and directions of the leaders of the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs at the annual foreign ministerial-level political consultation recently taking place in Vientiane, Laos.

For his part, Lao Ambassador to Australia Sisavath Inphachanh affirmed that Vietnam and Laos have a long-standing, exemplary and rare relationship in the world, which should be highly respected and preserved. He expressed his confidence that the two embassies will continue to strengthen the cooperation and mutual support to further tighten the good relationship between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs and peoples of the two countries./.
