Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand marks International Women’s Day

A ceremony was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand on March 8 to mark the International Women’s Day with the participation of the embassy staff and representatives of the Vietnamese community.

Speaking the event in Bangkok, Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Phan Chi Thanh wished the overseas Vietnamese women will continue to promote the fine tradition of Vietnamese women and enhance the solidarity within their community in Thailand, and contribute more to the development of Thailand as well as to the growth of the two countries’ traditional friendship.
In the joyful and warm atmosphere of the ceremony, overseas Vietnamese women in Thailand performed musical performances and reviewed memories of their visits to their homeland or meaningful activities towards their homeland.
On the same day, in some provinces with a large number of Vietnamese-Thai people, such as Nakhon Phanom province, the Vietnamese-Thai community also organized meaningful activities to send congratulations to mothers and sisters./.
