Hanoi kumquat village busy for Tet

(CPV) – Kumquat gardens in Hanoi traditional kumquat Tu Lien village are busy with those caring for the trees to serve customers as the lunar New Year festival (Tet) approaches.

Kumquat trees welcome Tet

Mature kumquat trees provide beautiful fruits.

Mr. Thang, a gardener, says the trees have been cared for since the beginning of the year.

Each kumquat garden has an area of some 1,000 square meters, with hundreds or thousands of trees.

This kumquat tree is sold at up to VND30 million.

Different kinds of trees are sold at different prices, mostly ranging from VND700,000 – VND3 million.

Kumquat trees are planted on tigers – the animal of 2022.

The symbol of the year animal is exploited on kumquat trees.

Kumquat trees are planted on beautiful artistic works.

Gardeners are busy welcoming visitors.

Sold trees are marked.

Tu Lien village is famous for the quality of kumquat trees, compared to those planted in other surrounding places.
