General Vo Nguyen Giap (1911-2013) was a loyal revolutionary soldier, an excellent and close disciple of President Ho Chi Minh, and the “eldest brother” of the Vietnam People’s Army. He was also a remarkable contributor to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the country, and an exemplary and prestigious leader of the Party, State, people, and army.
