Each day, this central area of Mong Cai city welcomes thousands of Vietnamese and Chinese people travelling and doing business. So, political security and social order are hot issues for functional bodies, especially heroin-related crimes.
Last year, it has investigated and destroyed 24 illegal heroin/drug trafficking, purchasing cases, arrested 38 criminals, including over 47 kilograms of heroin, and 40 kits for intravenous injection, smoking, suppository (anal or vaginal insertion), insufflation (snorting), and ingestion (swallowing).
The Quang Ninh provincial border guard force said that in the first two months of 2014, the border guard force from the Mong Cai International Border Gate detained five suspects for illegal heroin/drug trafficking, purchasing cases, including over 5 kilograms of heroin, 2778 ketamine, and eight cakes of heroin.
Forces are expanding their investigation to track down others involved in the ring./.
