Quang Ninh province responds to stamp contest on Dien Bien Phu victory

On March 3, Quang Ninh provincial Council of Young Pioneers coordinated with Quang Ninh provincial Post Office to respond to the stamp contest on Dien Bien Phu victory.

The contest was launched in Hanoi in February to mark the 60^th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu. All Vietnamese and foreign children living in Vietnam between age 7 and 15 are invited to participate in the contest.

The contest will help kids better understand the country’s history, as well as educate them on hometown patriotism.

By answering questions related to the Dien Bien Phu victory, which put an end to French colonial rule in Vietnam, contestants also learn about the development of stamps and present their ideas for designing stamps on the subject./.
