Quang Ninh sees state budget revenue rise in first two months

Quang Ninh’s total state budget revenue in the first two months this year reached an estimated VND5 trillion, 15 percent of the year’s estimate and a year-on-year increase of 32 percent, reported Quang Ninh News.
Sixty percent of this figure came from export and import activities. According to the provincial Department of Finance, the province collected VND3 trillion from the activities, up 88 percent over a year earlier, while domestic revenue was estimated at VND2 trillion, 91 percent that of the same period last year.
Major export commodities included coal, seafood products, pine tar, ready-made clothes, vegetable oil and cotton yarn. Of this, cotton yarn had the largest export volume at more than 8,500 tonnes.
Total budget spending during the period posted nearly VND1.5 trillion, 11 percent of the year’s estimate and 53 percent of the same period last year. Of this, spending for investment and development was over VND500 billion, while VND900 was spent for annual expenditure./.
