Quang Ninh gains 168 newly-registered enterprises in first quarter

In the first three months this year, 168 enterprises in the northern province of Quang Ninh registered new business, with total capital of VND836 billion and creating jobs for 2,990 workers, according to the Quang Ninh Television website.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of new enterprises decreased 17 percent, while registered capital increased 45 percent.

During the period, sixty-four enterprises registered for suspension, down 35 percent, while 25 enterprises were dissolved, down 28 percent, compared to the same period last year.

As of the end of the first quarter, the province has 8,570 legally registered enterprises with total registered capital of more than VND91 trillion./.
