Hotlines on traffic safety announced

The traffic safety department of the northern province of Quang Ninh has announced hotlines to receive and deal with information on transportation activities and traffic safety during the festivals marking the South Vietnam Liberation and national Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day (May 1).

There are often an increase in the number of traffic accidents during festivals.

Accordingly, people can call 0913 262 676 to provide information for the provincial traffic safety department; call 0333 798159 and 0333 835901 to provide information for the provincial Police; and call 0902 163 186 to provide information for the provincial Department of Transport.
The hotlines have been announced widely on mass media agencies so that people can know them, thus promptly reflecting the traffic safety situation to assist authorised agencies to deal with arising consequences.
In addition, the provincial traffic safety department is expected to hold regular inspection on people’s travel during the festival and summer holiday./.
