Beauties presented gifts to children

As many as 20 contestants from the Ha Long Beauty Contest which is taking place in the northern province of Quang Ninh visited and presented gifts to poor children in Cua Van fishing village.
This is a part of the activities in the Ha Long beauty contest 2014 to show spirit for communal life and deep human altruism. It is also intended to increase contestants’ understanding of the life and culture of people in the fishing village.
Earlier, contestants had cultural exchanges with soldiers from Navy Brigade 147, visited Quang Ninh museum, Bach Dang pile historical sites, and planted trees.
Cua Van fishing village is situated in Hung Thang commune, Ha Long city, about 20km away from the tourist boat wharf. It lies in a calm bay surrounded by mountains. The village has now become a tourist attraction and has been presented in the itinerary of almost every tourist agency./.
