Quang Ninh announces 35 investment projects

The Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee has issued decision 1016/QD-UBND announcing a list of projects calling for investment in Quang Ninh during the 2014-2016 period and with orientation to 2020.
Under the decision, Quang Ninh has 35 projects calling for investment. They include seven transport infrastructure projects, five industrial and urban zone infrastructure projects, 15 culture, sport, tourism and trade infrastructure projects, five health, education and training projects, two environmental infrastructure projects and one agricultural project.
The provincial People’s Committee assigned the Investment Supporting and Promoting Board to coordinate with relevant agencies to build content and information for the projects and to organise activities to popularise items of the projects. In addition, the Investment Supporting and Promoting Board was asked to mobilize investment, raising a petition to supplement suitable items to the implementation plan.
From the start of the year, the province licensed 20 projects with a total registered capital of more than VND5.94 trillion, a 1.2 fold increase compared to the same period last year. Quang Ninh is focusing on improving business environment and intensifying provincial - level competitive capacity to continue to attract more investment./.
