Quang Ninh children’s center offers kids summer activities

The Quang Ninh provincial Children’s Cultural Place is hosting an array of diversified activities for kids this summer.

Apart from courses in speed-reading, super-speed mathematics and English for children, the cultural center is also organizing training programs for soft skills and special courses for gifted students. According to Mr Nguyen Quoc Truong, Vice-head of the Quang Ninh provincial Children’s Cultural Place, kids are also eager to take part in the center’s swimming, dancesport, badminton, martial arts, and Chinese chess classes as well.

“Thanks to the development of the Place, kids in the northern province of Quang Ninh benefit from a fresh playground in the summer. My son felt healthier and more confident after joining a martial arts class last summer,” said Ms Nguyen Thi Phong from Bach Dang ward, Ha Long city.

“This year, I decided to register my daughter in a dancing class.”

In June, as many as 85 soft skills classes and courses for gifted kids were opened to over 1,650 children. The center also hosted the “My Lovely Summer” weekly program, creating a forum for kids to demonstrate their talents and creative ideas.

As planned, from now until mid-August, some of 25 courses for gifted kids and soft skills will be available for kids, thus helping to practice their physical, social, moral, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual power./.
