First Asia-Europe music festival to be held in Hanoi and Quang Ninh province

First Asia–Europe music festival is scheduled to take place in Hanoi and Quang Ninh province from October 8 - 12 with the participation of over 100 composers and artists from 30 countries.
On July 16, Vu Thi Thu Thuy, vice chairwoman of Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee received and worked with Vietnam Composers’ Association led by its president Do Hong Quan.
At the reception, Mr. Quan expressed his admire by the beauty of land and people in Quang Ninh province, especially Ha Long Bay. He said on the occasion of the meeting of the association’s executive committee, the association visited the provincial leaders and discussed the organization of first Asia-Europe music festival.
As scheduled, during the festival in Quang Ninh, participants will visit Ha Long Bay, join a music exchange at Dau Go cave, and take part in performances at Vietnam – Japan Friendship Culture Palace.
Ms. Thuy said that this will be an opportunity to introduce international friends Ha Long bay on the occasion of 20 years of being recognized as a world natural heritage by UNESCO. She said she assigned Quang Ninh provincial Literature and Arts Association to coordinate with Vietnam Composers’ Association to create the most favourite conditions for the association to organize activities in the province in the near future./.
