Quang Ninh bagged 4 medals at the National Junior Pencak Silat tour

Athletes competed in three categories: the 12-14 years old age group (20 events), the 15-17 years old group (26 events) and the 18-20 years old group (24 events).

This tour is a good chance for athletes to practice their skills, gaining experience and to seek the best candidates for the nation’s squad.

The finals medal tally came from 59 medal categories. The Hanoi delegation ranked top in the 12-14 years old group and 18-20 years old group.

The Quang Ninh delegation sent 10 members to the event, bagging 4 medals (2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze), in which, Vu Thi Van Anh, pocketed gold in the 65kg women’s event with, Le Ngoc Son, winning gold in the 78 kg men’s event./.
