Quang Ninh won 2 medals at National Family Sports Festival

The 2014 National Family Sports Festival, co-organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training and Dak Lak Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Toursim, took place in Dak Lak province from August 7-11.

Some 350 competitors from 27 provinces/cities participated in the tour, competing for medals in both the badminton and table tennis events.

Each event consisted of 4 groups: under 35’s, 36-46 years old group, 46-55 years old group and the over 56 years old group.

They competed in 3 categories: parents, father-sun and father-daughter, and mother-son and mother-daughter.

The event aimed at encouraging members in the family to participate in sports, contributing to building a modern and civilized family.

The Quang Ninh delegation sent 2 families to play in the badminton event, finishing with 1 silver and 1 bronze./.
