Quang Ninh’s industrial production rises 6.3% in seven months

Industrial production value in the province reached an estimated VND17.4 trillion during Jan-Jul, 51.6% of the year’s target or a 6.3% rise over a year earlier.

During the period, coal production posted 22 million tonnes, 53.6% of the year’s target (41 million tonnes) or 97.5% of the same period last year. Consumed coal output was 22.4 million tonnes.

Over the past seven months, electricity generation output reached more than 9,900 million Kwh, 64.1% of the year’s target or a year-on-year rise of 30.6%.

Ship building and construction material production industries enjoyed higher increases compared to the same period last year.

Currently, Quang Ninh continues to carry out solutions focusing on removing difficulties for local enterprises to speed up production and business, fulfilling the year’s plans./.
