Northern province gives free rice to nearly 5,000 pupils

The People’s Committee of the northern province of Quang Ninh has issued a decision adopting the ‘rice support for pupils’’ policy for the 5 months of the 2014-2015 school year.

Accordingly, nearly 5,000 pupils across the province will benefit from the decision. They are pupils in day-boarding schools, public schools in extremely disadvantaged regions, as well as ethnic minority pupils in day-boarding schools and those whose parents are in extremely disadvantaged regions.
Under the decision, nearly 345 tons of rice will be allocated to pupils./.
