Quang Ninh launches competition to learn about Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union

Youth union members, young people and students from across the province can join the contest.

The competition includes a writing contest involving six questions about the history and process of establishment and development of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union over the past 85 years; a video contest recording typical activities and images of the youth union on background music of “Thanh nien lam theo loi Bac” (Youth follows as Uncle Ho’s word); and an online quiz contest on the website of the provincial youth union at: tinhdoanquangninh.vn.

The contest will present awards on the occasion of the 85^th anniversary of establishment of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26^th and the writing contest will present awards in Youth Month 2017.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Hoang Van Hai asked youth unions in the province to widely disseminate to their members, students and people about the history and revolutionary tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union over the past 85 years and encourage them to actively join the competition.    

The competition is also an opportunity to arouse pride and encourage young people to uphold the revolutionary tradition, actively contributing their strength and intelligence to building and defending the nation./.
