Budget collection in Quang Ninh hits VND27.8 trillion

The northern province of Quang Ninh collected VND27.8 trillion for the state budget over the past ten months, of which domestic collection reached nearly VND13 trillion, while collection from export and import activities posted VND14.8 trillion, reported the provincial Department of Finance.

Quang Ninh’s state budget estimate in 2014, entrusted to the Provincial People’s Council, is approximately VND32.4 trillion, which at current rates of collection can be achieved..

The estimate for the province’s budget spending in 2014 is VND13.4 trillion, 96% of that of the same period last year.

At a meeting on carrying out Quang Ninh’s budget estimate in 2014 and estimate distribution plan, policy and measures to manage the province’s budget in 2015 on October 21, Chairman of Quang Ninh People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Doc, asked the provincial budget steering board for more aggressive controls to achieve the highest possible rate of collection.
