Argentina sees potential in investing in Da Nang

Argentina hailed Da Nang’s hosting of APEC 2017 Summit Week in November and pledged to call upon Argentine enterprises to participate in economic workshops in the central coastal city to seek investment opportunities.

Juan Carlos Valle Raleigh, Argentine Ambassador to Vietnam, said that in a meeting with Huynh Duc Tho, Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee on October 3
rd.
He stressed Argentina sees much potential in investing in hi-tech agriculture and solar power in Da Nang. In addition, cooperation in training between universities and exporting Da Nang’s products to Argentina and seeking investment opportunities in the city also has high potential.
At the meeting, Mr. Tho gave a general introduction about the city’s potential and strengths and said the city’s departments are urgently carrying out final preparations for the APEC 2017 Summit Week.
He hoped the Ambassador would facilitate cooperation between enterprises of the two sides, thereby strengthening the connection and expanding cooperation in various fields such as economics, trade and education./.
