Northern province attracts over 5.6 billion USD in investment capital

The leaders of the northern province of Bac Ninh have just awarded investment policy decisions, investment registration certificates, memorandums of understanding and agreements in principle to 18 FDI projects, with a total capital of 5.6 billion USD.

Prominent projects include: Samsung Display's electronic components and screen manufacturing project with a capital of 1.8 billion USD; Amkor Technology's semiconductor materials and equipment manufacturing, assembly and testing factory with nearly 1.1 billion USD; Hong Hac-Xuan Lam Eco-Urban Area Project with over 1 billion USD; and Goertek Vina Company’s factory for manufacturing electronic products, network equipment and multimedia audio products with 410 million USD.
Over the past years, Bac Ninh continuously strived to improve the investment climate, meet infrastructure requirements, improve the quality of human resources, boost investment promotion, and create the most favorable conditions for investors.
In 2024, Bac Ninh aims to attract about 7 billion USD of FDI capital. To achieve this goal, the province is making efforts to synchronously implement many solutions, focusing on administrative reform, improving the investment climate, improving the quality of human resources and strengthening investment promotion.
By 2050, Bac Ninh expects to be among the top localities in the country in terms of economic scale, becoming one of the leading hi-tech industry centers. At the same time, it aims to become a green, smart, modern, livable city with a high level of development, imbued with the cultural identity of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac./.
