Tuna export sees increase of four to five fold

The order increase also made tuna price rise by about 20%. Over the past week, many tuna trading enterprises in Khanh Hoa flocked to fishing ports in the south central region such as Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen to purchase tuna. 

This information has made tuna exporters very excited, because the tuna export market stagnated most of the year of 2020 due to the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, the price of tuna for export has increased by 20% -30% from the previous month. Therefore, tuna buyers from fishermen also push prices by about 20,000-25,000 VND per kilogram./.
