The China Daily posted an article about Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi’s speech on President Xi Jinping’s visit to Vietnam.
President Xi Jinping’s state visit to Vietnam, his first overseas trip after the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPV), reflects the “special and close relations between the two ruling parties and the two nations”, Vietnam’s ambassador to China said.
“We are very glad that General Secretary Xi’s first visit after the 19th CPC National Congress is to Vietnam,” Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi told China Daily in an exclusive interview. “That reflects the great attention that China, the CPC, the Chinese people and General Secretary Xi himself attaches to China-Vietnam relations.” he added.
Xi, who is also General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, attended the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting during his visit to Vietnam, which started on November 10th.

The two leaders spoke positively of the two countries’ development achievements and agreed to carry forward, preserve and promote the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam.
Xinhua cited Xi’s words that his visit to Vietnam was very smooth. He had friendly and in-depth exchanges with Mr. Trong, with the two sides agreeing to further deepen bilateral cooperation and advance the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.
Mr. Xu Liping, the President of Academy for Researching ASEAN, under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said he was very impressed by warm and enthusiastic welcome of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State, as well as Vietnamese people, for General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President Xi Jinping.
Prof. Xu Liping said, “With results also common awareness achieved during the visit, I think the relationship between the two countries will continue to accelerate based on general trend of stability; field cooperation will be extended and go into reality”./.
